Precautions & Side Effects

• SAMe: Very well tolerated. Occasional mild nausea or food refusal may occur. Use with caution alongside SSRIs, MAOIs, or antidepressants due to potential serotonergic interactions.
• Silymarin: Generally safe. Be cautious of interactions with certain antiviral or liver-metabolised drugs in polymedicated patients.
• Vitamin E: No major toxicity noted; however, do not exceed 400 IU per day to avoid interference with absorption of other fat-soluble vitamins.
